However, the 70th edition scooter is likely to be one of the existing scooters from the company with some custom paint jobs and designs.

The Emporio Armani edition is expected to be priced around INR 8.0 lakh, and would be available in very limited numbers.  The scooter would be powered by, a 4-stroke 125cc 3-valve single cylinder engine. The scooter can churn out maximum 11.7hp at 8250 rpm of peak power and a peak torque of 10.3Nm torque at 7000rpm. The Armani edition is equipped with some exclusive features such as LED headlamps and LED tail lamps with LCD instrument panel and ABS, traction control system, Anti Slip Regulator and disc brakes both in front and rear for added safety.

The Vespa 946 Emporio Armani was first showcased in India at the Auto Expo 2016.
