Vespa to launch its latest scooter - Elegante - somewhere around Diwali

After having a good year in terms of sales, Vespa is ready to roll out its fourth model in India near Diwali. After LX 125, VX 125 and Vespa S. Vespa also recently launched a limited version of its VX 125 known as Esclusivo.
The new scooter is also expected to be based on the VX 125 platform, but will look more distinctive with its stylish and fresh looks. The new variant is expected to have its design ques from the international model, Primavera which has some unique features like a triangular front grille, round head light, front disc brake and tubeless tryes. It will be powered by the same 125cc, 9.85bhp, 10Nm engine which is seen on all the other variants.
Apart from the usual colours Vespa scooters come in, Elegante will arrive with two new colour options: Pearl White and Marrakech Brown. The price of this scooter is expected to be somewhere around Rs. 75,000 (ex-showroom). Vespa is expected to make it big with this scooter as it is launching it in September so that it can get all the attention during the festive season.
