Toyota India has started teasing the all-new Camry hybrid prior to its launch, which is already confirmed for April 30, 2015 in the country. The company has released a teaser video, which gives glimpses of the new Toyota Camry Hybrid. In addition, a teaser image has also been revealed which showcases the new Camry sedan flaunting its new LED headlamps. Just so you know, the new hyrbid sedan was unveiled internationally at the 2014 Moscow International Auto Show.
2015 Toyota Camry facelift would bear several cosmetic upgrades inside the cabin, while coming with a new exterior styling. At the front fascia, it would have an all-new grille with LED headlamps and daytime running lights. The front bumper is tweaked, alongside the newly-designed alloy wheels and the redesigned LED tail-lamp cluster. The exterior designing of Toyota Camry facelift introduces an individual to company's new design philosophy, which can also be felt in the new Corolla Altis. Talking about the interior cabin, the old and conventional 4-spoke steering wheel has gone for a toss in favour of a new 3-spoke multi-function sports unit. It now also boasts a 6.1-inch touch-screen infotainment system.
2015 New Toyota Camry was recently launched in Indonesia and the India-spec model is also expected to feature the same engines as the Indonesian model. The petrol variant is expected to be powered by the 2.5L 4-cylinder motor, which pumps out a massive power of 179bhp and peak torque of 233Nm. On the other hand, the hybrid variant would get the 2.5L engine with a maximum power of 202bhp. The petrol engine, reportedly, would be paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the hybrid variant would boast a e-CVT gearbox.
