Video - 2015 Yamaha YZF - R1M Ripping through Track, Like it is supposed to!!
Snapshot: See the new Yamaha Flagship Rip apart the tarmac!!!
The Yamaha R1 homologation version for the world superbikes was always going to be a motorcycle to look out for at the EICMA 2014. Along with the other homologation specials coming out from the likes of MV Agusta and Ducati. This Yamaha exclusive was always going to be the torch bearer of the next level of Hyperbikes of the world.
The Yamaha R1M does not just have engine specifications to send chills down the competitions spine, it also wears one of the most advanced and sophisticated electronics ever to have featured on a factory produced bike for production.
With a "CP4" Crossplane Yamaha Engine cranking out 200bhp, this bike as we reported earlier in the day has some nifty electronics in its dna to let the rider do things on track, which are beyond the capability of most of the other track weapons out there in the market.
Now Yamaha has released a video featuring their track missile in action at a race track. The fine blokes at Iwata have tastefully and brilliantly incorporated both their Moto GP riders , Jorge Lorenzo's and Valentino Rossi's master class riding talents to show the viewers and the diehard R1 followers, that the next level has arrived.
Indeed, the 2015 Yamaha YZF-R1M looks and sounds good enough to be the Yamaha YZF-M1 that one can buy (considering you own a few banks along with a few tons of gold, that is).
The Yamaha YZF-R1M will be available in the USA starting February 2015, the Yamaha YZF-R1M comes only in Carbon Fiber/Liquid Metal, with a price tag of $21,990 MSRP. Only 500 units will be made worldwide.
