Japanese automajor, Suzuki has officially unveiled the 2017 Suzuki S-Cross, which is slated to launch in European markets on September 30, 2016. Earlier, we came up with various spyshots of the facelift model ahead of its unveil and now we are with a video that unveils the bits of the next generation Suzuki S-Cross. In the Italian market, the model is being offered in 11 variants and has been priced tagged between EUR 18,990 - 28,090 (Rs 14.05 lakh - 20.78 lakh).
As seen in many images, the new S-Cross features a vertical slated chrome grille, newly designed bumper that houses a larger radiator grille, LED daytime running lights, projector headlamps and foglamps with chrome accents. The side profile seems similar to the existing model, but the rear also gets some tweaks with updated taillights with LED lighting. Inside, the company claims to update the car with softer material, touchscreen display with piano black surroundings, HVAC vents also have chrome accents, 7 inch infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Mirrorlink connectivity.
Under the hood, the face-lifted version will be packed with the same diesel unit that is the 1.6L DDiS turbodiesel, which is good enough to produce 120hp of power and 320Nm of torque. The engine is connected the model will be offered with transmission options of a 6-speed manual or DCT, and an ALLGRIP AWD system as an option.
