Speaking of the 2020 Kwid facelift, it will be based on the Renault City K-ZE, which is the Kwid based all-electric car. The updated hatch will flaunt a new radiator grille, twin front headlamps, three-slat horizontal front grille with lower position and redesigned front bumper. It will ride on the steel wheels with new wheel caps while the tail-lamp cluster will also feature a new layout. It is being learnt that the company will offer LED DRLs with the range-topping variants. Inside the cabin, the 2020 Renault Kwid facelift is expected to gain a few features such as new upholstery, refurbished instrument cluster and an updated MediaNav touchscreen infotainment system.

Mechanically, the facelifted Kwid will be powered by the BS VI compliant versions of the same 0.8L and 1.0L 3-cylinder SCe petrol engines. The aforementioned engines currently deliver 53bhp/72Nm and 67bhp/91Nm respectively. It is still unclear whether these engines will get a bump in power and torque in the BS VI mode or not. The transmission duties will be done by the same 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearboxes. 2020 Renault Kwid facelift price is expected to start between Rs 2.75-3.00 Lakhs (Ex.
