As we are nearing the 2015 Geneva Motorshow, slated to start on 3rd March, 2015, our level of anxiety and anticipation is increasing manifold. And why shouldn't it be? More are more details are coming every now and then and the latest to join the long list of revealings is the upcoming Supercar from the iconic British brand Aston Martin.
Aston Martin has released a teaser video of the upcoming Aston Martin Vulcan. The video doesn't reveal much apart from the insane grunt that the Vulcan's engine produces and believe us, it has left us desiring for more. Apart from the sound, the teaser also confirmed that the car will be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show which will start on March 3, 2015.
While not much of the details apart from the teaser are confirmed, Autocar UK has reported more details. According to the publication, Vulcan will be a “track-only Hypercar” that will rival against the LaFerrari FXX K and the McLaren P1 GTR that will be capable of producing 750 bhp of power through a V12 engine. The Sypercar will be limited only to 30 units.
The Vulcan will be having an extremely aerodynamic body built extensively with carbon fibre with only bare minimal interiors. Inspired by Aston Martin’s Motorsport programme, Aton Martin could provide the driver programme like the Ferrari. The programme consists of driver training and special track day events. Aston confirms that the Vulcan would be the “most extreme non-race Aston” in its 102-year history.
