Audi has released another teaser video for the Audi Q2, revealing the headlamp, taillamp and side profile of the crossover. Audi Q2 is scheduled to make its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show 2016 on March 1. The Audi Q2, which will be positioned under Q3, is an entry-level SUV that is based on the MQB platform that also underpins Volkswagen Golf.
Audi Q2 draws the by Audi’s new global design language that can be seen on the new Audi Q7 and the overall length is expected to be over 4-metre. The Q2 will be loaded with Thor-hammered shaped LEDs with projector headlamps, skid plates, side cladding, LED taillight, touchscreen infotainment system, two-Zone automatic AC System, steering mounted controls, airbags, ABS and Quattro all-wheel drive system.
Under the hood, the new Q will offered in a range of new petrol and diesel engine options. The Q2 will be powered by a 1.4-litre TFSI petrol engine in a base model, while a 2.0-litre TDI and 1.8-litre TFSI engines in the mid- and top-ranging variant. The Audi Q2 will get choice of transmission that includes a six-speed manual, a six-speed S-Tronic and a seven-speed S-Tronic Automatic unit. The top-ranging variant is expected to get Quattro All-Wheel Drive system.
