The ongoing Consumer Electronics Show is the largest of its kind electronic show in the world. As much as the consumer electronics companies participate in the CES, automotive companies also hold a large share of display at the show. Among many is the German Luxury Car manufacturer, Audi, who has decided to stage two world debuts at the current CES 2015, one out of which is just teased in a video.
Audi has released a teaser for their upcoming automated parking system that enables the car to self park through a Smartwatch. The video released is an innovative idea and showcases an Audi A3 e-tron being driven by the owner with his dog in it. When the neighbor teases him with various tricks his dog can show, the owner decided to stun the neighbor by self-parking the car, as if his dog is handling the operations.
Audi also showcases the automatic wireless recharging system, that is paired with the car as soon as it is parked, to charge the battery. The smartphone app tells the charging status of the battery. Audi previously show the concept of self-driving car, when they transported journalists some 900 kms in an automated A7 to attend the CES 2015.
Among other manufacturers, Mercedes also revealed the self-driving F-015 concept and so is Ford, ready with their technology. Google, on the other hand, already is ready with the fully functional prototype of the self-driver car.
