The first product from the partnership between BMW and TVS, G310R has received a new TV commercial which was recently released on Company's official YouTube page. This bike has been specially developed by BMW Motorrad and will be locally manufactured by TV Motor India. This video was released with a tagline "Challenge the City" along with a one-liner,  “People have cars because you need a car to get places. You don’t need a bike; people have bikes because they love bikes.”


 

Powering its motor is a 4-stroke, single cylinder, 313cc, water-cooled engine that could pump a maximum power of 33.5 bhp of power at 9,500rpm and 28Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm. The transmission responsibilities are carried out by 6-speed transmission and come with company acclaimed top speed of 145Kmph.

 

When launched, it will compete against current segment leaders like Yamaha R3, Kawasaki Z250, KTM Duke 390 and Benelli TNT 300. It is speculated to make its arrival in the domestic market by late 2016 with an expected price tag of around Rs 2.30 lakh.
