German automajor, BMW says that the M4 GTS has managed to register a promising lap time of around 7:28 minutes at the Nürburgring circuit track. The BMW M chassis development test driver, Jorg Weidinger, made it possible and it said that the exact time is between “between 7:27:51 and 7:28:49”. As the preliminary analysis suggests that the M4 GTS could be among the 40 fastest cars, being faster than supercars like the 2008 Porsche 911 GT2, Ferrari 458 Italia, Koenigsegg CCX, and more.
Commenting on this, Weidinger said, “The BMW M4 GTS is indeed a thrilling overall package. This is not just because of its formidable engine, but the three-way Coilover suspension also plays an important role. The kinematics, tires, aerodynamics, and the design of the ‘driver’s workplace - all of these components are coordinated to work together perfectly.”
BMW M4 GTS was revealed in October, and is packed with carbon fibre body details, OLED taillights, titanium exhaust system, and water injection technology making it at ease for the 3.0-liter TwinTurbo 6-cylinder engine to produce 500 HP.
