Eeeww... that is not what anybody would like to end up as after a much awaited return to motorcycle racing. The Casey Stoner entry to the prestigious Suzuka 8-Hour endurance has ended up in a hugely scary crash that has resulted in him suffering from a shoulder and a leg fracture.
The Two time World Champion broke his right scapula and left tibia after the crash that was caused due to a stuck throttle, the crash happened at the time when Casey was leading the race on his MuSASHI RT HARC-PRO factory Honda backed team bike. Stoner crashed at high speed when he couldn't slow down his Honda CBR1000RR into the turn 11 known as the Hairpin. The crash being a hard hit on Casey's return to professional motorcycle racing also meant that the Honda team's hope of defending their win last year were also spoiled.
There is no news on how much time Casey will need to recover from the injuries that he has suffered, and we hope that he returns to his full strength soon enough and races again.
