Ever thought, what will happen if you power up a skateboard or a pitching machine with Ford’s 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine? Well! Here are the videos, in which Ford is promoting their 1.0-litre EcoBoost turbocharged petrol engine and features Swedish actor and director Dolph Lundgren (the Expendables fame), boosting the level of experiment to some good extremes. The unit in its regular tune produces 121bhp and 170Nm of torque.
Lungdren plays a character of the scientist, experimenting with the EcoBoost engine with skateboard and ball thrower. Titled as “EcoBoost Engine Meets Skateboard”, a regular skateboard is strapped on with the EcoBoost unit. Though, the skateboard is a great way to travel, but when it gets this mill combined with it, it definitely gets a feel of extreme sports.
In the next Video, you will see a pitching machine that is used in net practice and can launch a ball at a speed of around 145kmph. When this ball launcher is paired with the 1.0-litre EcoBoost, what do you think will happen? Does it pitches, the ball bursts off or..? The ball actually launches at an incredible top speed over 320kmph and penetrates through a three layered dry wall.
