Video- Filming of TopGear's first episode not went well as expected

Snapshot: Apparently, the filming of Top Gear's first studio episode didn't go as well as expected.

It's never too easy to shoot in front of the cameras. Add to it a live audience and you might feel a little agitated. But if that was not traumatizing enough, your brand name might just put a hammer to your live show. We are talking about BBC Top Gear UK here, a show that has crossed all the boundaries to create an immense fan falling for them.

When the famous trio of Richard Hammond, James May and Jeremy Clarkson left the show, every follower of the automobile series was disappointed. Soon BBC decided to resurrect the show with some of the popular TV names in the industry, including Matt LeBanc (FRIENDS fame) and Chris Evans. After dropping in some of the trailers (God, we were so excited about them), it was time for the first in-studio shooting experience for the team.

But, according to the reports, the shooting of the very first episode of BBC Top Gear new series didn't go well as expected. According to the reports published in 'The Sun', Evans took 10 retakes to perfect his opening monologue. " Don't fold your arms, don't wear black. Take it off – take everything off," Evans was quoted as saying. "Don't fold your arms, don't have your hands in your pockets." He ended his rant with  some curse words.

Also, Top Gear was hoping to rope in Brad Pitt as their first guest in the reborn series, but he dropped out in the last moment. TG has to replace Pitt with actor Jesse Eisenberg and noted chef Gordon Ramsey. Evans had earlier mocked Clarkson and Co. for finishing the live shooting in three hours. Strangely, Eavs himself took more than 4 hours to complete the live session of shooting.

While this is only the first time he is shooting live for the TG, we hope he will grow up on the stuff. Some of his jokes were said to be dull and lame, forcing Evans to rebuke the audience, "Don't be quiet. Talk among yourselves. Jesus Christ! Can you all hear me?" No matter how negative is the press, we are looking forward to watch the new series.

Earlier, this week, BBC Top Gear launched its very new trailer, revealing the workplace of the new team. Instead of some fast paced stuff, the new trailer is all relaxed and we get to see some really nice cars like the Jaguar E-Type and the Ford Mustang Hoonigan edition, the one driven by Ken Block himself. One hell of a show it gonna be!

And just so you know, Jeremy, Hammond and May trio has decided the name of their new show on Amazon as 'The Grand Tour'. Are we looking at the TV rivalry of the decade? We can't wait the 2 new shows to start. Keep a tab here for all the updates related to the shows.
