Video- Former F1 driver dies in a motorcycle crash

Snapshot: De Cesaris suffered a fatal accident at his home town in Rome on Sunday and died instantly at the age of 55 years.

6th September, Sunday, came out as a very remorseful day for the Motorsports world with the Jules Bianchi of Marrusia racing team suffering a severe head injury in the Suzuka F1 race. But as the people were praying for his good health, another terrible news came in with the shocking death of former F1 driver, Andrea De Cesaris, in a motorcycle accident.

De Cesaris suffered a fatal accident at his home town in Rome on Sunday and died instantly at the age of 55 years. De Cesaris was a regular driver for the races between 80's and 90's, racing for a variety of teams, including the McLaren, Alfa Romeo, Jordan and Minardi. Although he didn't win any race, he was able to get 5 podiums and 1 pole in his career.

In the other incident, Jules Bianchi suffered a terrible accident at the Suzuka, Japan F1. Now a footage has been released showing the impact of Bianchi with the tractor recovering Adrian Sutil's Sauber car. Bianchi has undergone a head surgery and is considered very serious.

Marrusia has issued a statement thanking everyone for the support. The statement reads " Following the accident involving Jules Bianchi during yesterday's 2014 Formula One Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka Circuit, the Marussia F1 Team would like to acknowledge the huge outpouring of support and affection for Jules and the Team at this very difficult time."

While we pray for the good health of Bianchi, our condolences are with the family and friends of Andrea De Cesaris.
