Movie and cars go hand-in hand, be it the famous transformation series or the need for speed franchise. While these were hardcore car movies, the James Bond movies hold a special place among petrol-heads like us due to different reasons all together. And the reason is none other than the spectacular Aston Martin cars, which have become synonymous with the Bond flicks.
The latest to join the long list of Martins is the new DB10 which is specifically been made for the upcoming James Bond flick, Spectre. Marchettino has uploaded a video of four DB10s on YouTube, shot in Rome, Italy. This is the 24th Jamoes Bond movie and will premiere on 6th November, 2015. Reports suggest that Aston Martin exclusively built some 10 DB10 for Spectre only, out of which, four are shown in this video.
Aston Martin DB10 is actually made on the V8 Vantage, which uses the VH platform as the base and is powered by a Ford-sourced V8 4.7 litre engine. Marek Reichman, Design Director at Aston Martin says that all the action scenes featuring DB10 will be real and won't use any CGI leading to DB10 "treated harshly, used in real stunts" destroying some of them in the filming process.
Good news for James Bond 007 fans is that, while the Bond himself will drive the DB10, he will be pitted against the Jaguar C-X75 concept. Cars like Range Rover SVR and Land Rover Defender Big Foot will also be featured in the movie.
