Guy Martin crashed on Friday while competing in the Dunrod 150 Superbike Race. Martin was leading the race when he lost control of his motorcycle. Martin was battling with rival Bruce Anstey on the final lap of the race when the English rider suffered a high-speed left hander at the Ireland’s section of the Co Antrim circuit. Martin was instantly tossed off his high speed motorcycle and was lucky to closely miss a tree at the crash corner. The Lincolnshire man went on sliding into the foam barriers besides the race track. He suffered a broken sternum, vertebra and ribs due to the crash and went through a surgery on Friday to repair the damages. The crash resulted in the race being red flagged and Kiwi rider Bruce Anstey eventually won the race when it was conducted again on Friday. The video below shows the high speed crash of the 33-year old English rider that left him bedridden and unfit to race at the 2015 Ulster Grand Prix. We pray for the Martin’s fast recovery.
