Ducati moving on from the L-Twins to the V4 engines is not a new news, but what’s new is the V4 roar that’s never heard before. Our friends at MaxxMoto from Belgium has posted a video of the new upcoming Ducati V4 superbike on the test and the heart pounding roar from V4 engine can’t be missed.
The exhaust note of the test ridden bike can be clearly differentiated from the present L-Twin Ducati superbikes and the new sound is quite similar to that of the Aprilia RSV4 and why not both are V4. Ducati will be using the hybrid arrangement of Superquadro and Desmosedici engine designs which will feature Desmodromic Valve Technology. The Bologna based bike maker will use a “big bang” or “long bang” cylinder firing order instead of the “twin pulse” or “screamer” arrangement.
The bike is expected to make its first public appearance at the EICMA show in Milan, Italy this year. Till then stay tuned to Autoportal for all the latest happenings in the auto world.
P.S: Enjoy the video!
