John Hennessey is simply a master when it comes to achieving land speed records for road-legal cars. While many have achieved high speeds over the years, none could simply touch the sheer brilliance of John Hennessey when it comes to road-legal cars. He came into limelight for creating the Hennessey Venom GT, which became the fastest car on the Earth a couple of years back.

And now John Hennessey has taken a Ford Mustang and converted it into a 750hp monster that has just achieved a record high of 333kmph (207.9mph). It all started a few months back when Hennessey tuned his personal Mustang into a HPE700 Mustang and records 312kmph (195mph). Mr. Hennessey soon after said that 200mph is achievable with Ford Mustang.

A man of his words, John Hennessey now has made the new HPE750 Mustang for his customers. "If at first you don't succeed, just add more horsepower and rpm and try again," John Hennessey said in the company's announcement. "It's pretty cool to be able to offer an American muscle car that delivers supercar performance for under $70,000."

Noted automobile collector and TV presenter Jay Leno was invited by Hennessey and team to witness the record setter at the Continental Tire Proving Grounds, Uvalde, Texas, U.S.A. Jay Leno will play the record run on his famous Jay Leno's Garage TV show that airs on CNBC. The record set by the pony car was recorded with a GPS and stands at 207.9 mph (approx. 303kmph).

"I have a lot of seat time in the 2015 Mustang GT, since the Ford Performance Racing School has a fleet of them that we use for high-performance driver training," said Brian Smith, GM of Utah's Miller Motorsports Park and instructor at Ford Performance Racing School. "The Mustang GT is a fast, good-handling car right from the factory, but the Hennessey Mustang takes it to a completely new level. The Hennessey high-performance upgrades transform a very good GT car into a legitimate supercar."

But a speed like this comes at a cost and the customers will have to shell $59500 for each piece of HPE750. The prices include the base 2015 Ford Mustang GT, which is limited to 500 units only. But if you want to purchase the exact replica of the record setting machine, you will very well have to shell out $69374, according to Hennessey.

To achieve 774hp out of a 5.0-litre V8 motor, Hennessey installed a 2.9 Liter Supercharger System into the engine. Carbon Fiber High Flow Air Induction, Upgraded Fuel Injectors, Upgraded Fuel Pump System, Carbon Fiber Coilpack Covers, Gaskets & Fluids were all professionally Installed. You will also get Hennessey Exterior Badging, HPE750 Exterior Badging, Hennessey Embroidered Headrest, Supercharged Exterior Badging and Hennessey Premium Floormats.
