Husqvarna recently released a video showcasing mad ice riding skills of spiked-tires 701 Supermoto. The striking blue color looks in sync with one of those Superhero’s costumes. 701 come with a 690cc single cylinder that produces a mad power of 67bhp@7500rpm and the torque arrives at an outstanding 68Nm@6000rpm. The 701 Supermoto comes with equipment listing like APTC slipper clutch, ABS brakes, WP suspension, and ride-by-wire throttle with riding modes. The bike weighs mere 145kgs and this boosts the power to weight ratio of the ride. Husqvarna has developed a microsite and you can win yourself an ice riding experience if you visit the site.
Husqvarna states: “Combining Swedish simplicity with outstanding agility the 701 Supermoto brings Husqvarna back to the streets for the first time in the iconic brand’s new era. A leader in terms of technology, the 701 Supermoto is driven by a powerful single-cylinder engine that offers thrilling performance. Its clean and uniquely modern design is perfectly matched to the bike’s lightweight construction, creating a pure, modern Supermoto machine that will get your adrenaline racing.”
Chances are that 701 Supermoto and Enduro will be launched late this year in the international market. The video below showcases how well the Spiked-tires 701 Supermoto rides on the frozen ice valley. Enjoy!
