Looks like, while the people are still busy in understanding and evaluating the launches of the recently concluded Intermot Motorshow, Yamaha is giving a reason to the aficionados to gear up for the upcoming EICMA show. The recent teaser video by the Yamaha, shows that, they have coined a term called Development level 'Z' and are ready to reveal the bike on the 3rd November, the inaugral day of EICMA Motorshow.
Apparently, Yamaha strictly refrained from revealing much detail, though the design seems like a supersports bike, and Yamaha is famous for one Superbike, which direly needs makeover after being in the same avatar for the last 5 years, the Yamaha R1.
One thing is clear, that Yamaha has put in a lot of efforts and thinking in this new offering, as they are portraying it is a never seen before development level 'Z'. The same thing happened with the much hyped, recently unveiled Ninja H2. What stared as a teaser showing the efforts in achieving technological superiority, ended in something of an alien looking bike.
Like the Ninja, we expect the Yamaha to unveil the two versions; street and race variants. The power would very well cross the 200PS mark and will have the same 1000cc engine as the previous machine. The design will be more aerodynamic and will get a more rigid frame to support those high speeds.
And yes, don't forget, they mentioned Episode 01 in the video, meaning more teasers are about to land soon. While we wait eagerly to know more details, you watch the video and run the horses of your imagination, as to what the bike will look like.
Watch this space for further updates from the Yamaha.
