Video - Ken Block and his Ford Fiesta RX43 are back with Gymkhana 8 in Dubai

Snapshot: Ken Block has taken the car drifting to a whole new level with his new video shot in Dubai for Gymkhana series.

He is not a Hooligan but a Hoonigan, he is not a stunt driver, but an artist with a car! Ken Block is back with what he does best and this time, he has taken the game to a whole new level. Ken Block has released yet another video, the number 8th under the Gymkhana series and we can't stop watching it on a loop. What's so special about it, you may ask? Well, for starters, Ken's co-driver is a Cheetah!

No, we are not kidding! The latest Gymkhana video is shot in Dubai - the land of insane cars! And It seems like the Sheikh is a huge fan of Ken Block, who gave him the whole Dubai to play with his toys! Watch the video below to believe us-

Thanks to Dubai, Ken Block was able to do some extraordinary stuff in his car time around. Few of the insane stuff we have listed for you here-

1. Asks a Cheetah to be his co-driver

2. Drift around exotic Dubai police cars like BMW i8, Bugatti and Lamborghinis to name a few

3. Drag race with Bugatti, Lamborghini, Nissan GTR

4. Drifting in the Royal Palace of Dubai

5. Play with the famous Dubai Fountain

6. Donuts around a Boeing 747

7. Drifting on the lanes of the famous Palm Island

Ken Block and his team, known as 'The Hoonigans' and the co-founder of DC Shoes are known to produce some of the wackiest and craziest automobile stunt videos. Ken Block himself, is a world-renowned drifter and professional rally racer, who loves pushing his Ford cars to the extreme. And when is not rallying or designing shoes, he features in Gymkhana videos, like the one we just saw.

The latest video features Ken Block in his heavily modified Ford Fiesta ST RX43 in an all-new livery. The new livery is not all about colors, but the Fiesta ST features a directionally reflective, black-on-black livery that changes its looks depending on the angle you are viewing it from, as well as how light is hitting it. Ken Block has already announced the use of Ford Focus for his 9th episode. Speaking of which, Ken Block used a heavily modified 1965 Ford Mustang in his previous video, which he took 2 years to built.

The video starts with Ken sitting with a Cheetah in the middle of a desert and cranks up the Fiesta to conquer the desert. He then drifts in the city and begins the action by drifting around the exotic Dubai Police fleet. After doing some donuts around a Ford F150 on two wheels, he passes by the famous Dubai fountain, races with some exotic cars and enters the Airport to fight with a Boeing 747. Rest, the words can't justify what you will see in the video.

Our only piece of advice, watch the video as much as you can, but do not these stunts at home. Ken is a skilled professional and he shoots all his video under controlled environment.

Needless to say, we at Autoportal have a special affection towards Ken Block and you can check our special feature on him here!
