A couple of months back we reported that the iconic British brand, Land Rover is planning to start an off-roading Heritage Driving Experience. Well, it seems like Land Rover was in much of the hurry and they have formally launched the Land Rover Heritage Driving Experience at the company's test centre at Fen End, Warwickshire, West Midlands, England.
Inline with the Jaguar's Heritage Driving Experience that was started last year, which offered to drive some of the most iconic models like the Jaguar E-Type, this experience is intended for off-roading enthusiasts that lets the people who pays to experience the brand's legendary off-roading machines, who basically laid down the foundation of the company.
The program offers the public to put their hands on some of the iconic SUVs from different eras of the brand's history. Be it the chance to drive the legendary Series 1, which later became the Defender or be it the original Range Rover. People can also get to drive the military-spec 101 Forward Control Vehicle, a rare chance to drive a real military machine.
Sadly, all the action is limited to the Jaguar-Land Rover's hometown England only and one has to fly there to experience the history. We hope Land Rover will try to bring it across various parts of the globe including India!
