Remember the Lotus Exige S, the brand has reincarnated it in to the Exige Sports 350 and is referred as the "ultimate incarnation of the world famous Exige" as it is much lighter and faster than the Exige S. And in order to achieve this, designers weighed component of its predecessor and started to work on finding ways to reduce the mass of the car.

At the end, efforts came out with impressive results, shredding out 51 kg of weight by featuring  the use of components such as lightweight engine mounts, lighter battery, and a louvred tailgate panel. The Exige Sports 350 also features lighter HVAC pipework, revised sound insulation, and an exposed gearshift mechanism with a new centre console.

Talking about the power, the Exige Sports 350 is power packed with a supercharged 3.5-litre V6 engine that churns out 345 HP and 400 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a revised  6-speed manual transmission with sports ratios that is capable to bolt this car 0-100 kmph in mere 3.9 seconds. The model is also offered with an optional six-speed automatic transmission, which reduces this time to 3.8 seconds.

The car will go on sale in the European car market in February 2016, though the brand has never made its way to hit the streets of India, but it could hit tracks for sure in the near future.
