If Ford is admiring some individual's work, he must have done something to accumulate the attention of the American power house. And Adelbert Engler surely has done what many people dream of accomplishing, but only a handful really achieves it. Mr. Engler is no ordinary man, but the owner of the largest viewable Ford Mustang Scale model collection in the world and also the owner of a renowned Mustang restoration shop.
Engler, a resident of Belgium, actually owns a Mustang restoration and repair shop in the city of Heusden-Zolder, Belgium, and that’s the place all the scale models are being displayed. The collection has some from a long lasting effort of collecting the scale models since the age of 8 years in 1964. This means he is collecting all this stuff for last 50 years.
The collection is so detailed and large that he owns every variant and version of the Mustang models ever produced, keeping them in a 25-meter-long vitrine. Infact, some of them are rare whisky bottles in the shape of Ford Mustangs, radio controlled cars and a Christmas tree with Mustangs on it. He says the rarest models of all are two Edelbrock cars from the Camee and Chisty sisters.
We salute the efforts and the fetish Mr. Engler has with the Mustang brand. Like we said earlier, only a handful of people actually are as crazy as him, when it comes to automobiles.
