Believe it or not Superbowl series in the USA is followed as religiously as is the Cricket World Cup in India. Part of the NFL (the national football league), Superbowl attracts more crowd than any other sport in the U.S and this is the reason why no business house wants to miss the sport for promotion in this event and Mercedes-Benz is no different.
The German automobile giant found its place among the only six automakers who are scheduled to advertise at this year's Super Bowl. And Mercedes left no stone unturned to utilize the moment. Mercedes-Benz has revealed the commercial days before the game starts featuring the latest Supercar to grace the Mercedes' portfolio, the AMG GT.
The TVC titled Fable recreates the age old fable about the tortoise and the hare, but with a twist. The story starts as everyone knows, with the two protagonists waiting for the race to start. The hare as usual, goes miles ahead and waits in between judging his victory. The minute long commercial is taken to the AMG factory where tortoise gets an AMG GT for itself and eventually wins the race and the girl - or lady hare to be precise.
The car is a 2016 Mercedes-AMG GT S with a 4.0 litre bi-turbo V8 engine that produces massive 503 hp, pushing the car from 0-100 kmph in 3.7 seconds. The commercial may not be as unique as the 2013 Superbowl commercial by Mercedes, it is no less thanks to the beautiful AMG GT.
