We humans are a very competitive species and that is evident by the fact that Motorsports holds so much importance for us. Drag race is one such sport and in addition to cars racing with cars, cars and bikes are tested against each other too. By virtue of it, a same spec bike will be anytime faster than the car due to low weight and can beat hands down the car.

But that's not the case you will see in the video here. What will be your obvious answer when we say that who will win the race between a 110bhp Volkswagen Golf MK1 and 180bhp Yamaha R1 motorcycle? Obviously the Yamaha you would say! Well, like we said before, that's not the case here. Some crazy automobile guys took the Golf and did a complete makeover for it.

The highly modified Golf comes with big flashy alloys, roll cage and fancy color. But that won't help her win over R1. It's what lies beneath the hood up front which will blow your mind like it did to us! This Golf comes with a 2.0 litre gigantic engine that produces staggering 1042 horsepowers added with 1001 Nm of peak torque! Go home Bugatti, we would say - go home!

And how does this engine change the fortune of this otherwise punny car? The 6-speed manual 4Motion AWD pushes the car beyond 300kmph without much fuss. And what about the Yamaha R1? The Superbike has a 998cc four cylinder liquid cooled engine that produces 180 horsepower and can easily do 280 kmph starting fro 0-100 kmph in just 3 seconds.

Now you know our reason of excitement. Watch the video above and think for yourselves, what a change can do the machine and its performance, while we search more such awesome stuff for you!
