Move over the Ford Raptor modified by Ken Block's Hoonagism with tracks to conquer snow. Nissan has prepared a special Juke Nismo RS equipped with tracks suitable to tackle snowy roads. The one-off Nismo RSnow was developed as a support vehicle for an ice drifting event set to be organized in Lapland, Finland.
Based on the good-looking Juke Nismo RS, the one-off car (or is it a car afterall?) is named Nissan Juke Nismo RSnow. The RSnow comes equipped with an all-wheel drive system with an Xtronic gearbox and instead of regular wheels it comes with a Dominator Track System developed by American Track Truck.
Speaking of the design, the model is highly desirable in terms of looks, thanks to the tracks. Compared to the standard Juke Nismo RS, the Rsnow is specially modified in terms of revised front and rear fascias to accommodate the tracks while the torque-vectoring all-wheel drive system had to be reprogrammed. The all-black exteriors combined with red ORVMs and bumper lining completes the killer looks.
Under the hood, the one-off Juke Nismo gets the same 1.6 litre four-cylinder DIG-T turbocharged gasoline engine as in the road variant Juke. The motor is capable of producing 218 hp of power and 280 Nm of torque. And how fast can it go on snow? As fast as 100 kmph, with the kind of engine it has!
A hell of a monster it is, to say the least!
