Video- This car is about to take off on 29th October

Snapshot: The Slovakia based manufacturer will officially unveil the car on the 29th of October at the Pioneer Festival in Vienna, Austria.

The relation between the Sci-Fi movies and the technology is like a cat and mouse game. Sometimes the technology runs faster and gives inspiration to the movies and sometimes movies, shows something giving inspiration to scientists, to create something extraordinary. The same has happened in the case of Flying Car. Its been long since we are hearing the production of a flying car is going on. Many companies took the challenge, many succeeded in theory, few of them pratically, but none were able to make a commercial car.

But now a Slovakian company has promised to give a commercial version to fellow earthlings and they have shot a beautiful video revealing the flight of the car. Our first thought, the car is insanely beautiful and practical. AeroMobil, the Slovakia based manufacturer will officially unveil the car on 29th of October at the Pioneer Festival in Vienna, Austria. This will be the AeroMobil 3.0production ready version of the car.

Technically speaking, the car will be powered by a Rotex 912 engine, providing it enough power to achieve a top speed of 160kmph on the ground and 200kmph in the air. The car will consume the fuel at a rate of 15 litres per hour while in the air and 12.5kmpl while on ground. On a tank full, it will have a range of 700 kms when flying and 875 kms when on the road.

This car is a vision of Stefan Klein, the co-founder and chief designer or AeroMobil, who wanted to provide a unique transportation solution to the increasing road traffic situation. He has been working on the project for the last twenty years, and on 29th, his vision will be shared by the world. The car has a wingspan of 27 feet and can be folded and parked when required. It can easily accommodate 2 adults and has a weight of only 450kgs.
