Jaguar Land Rover, Tata-owned luxury British marquee, would have the world première of its all-new 2016 Jaguar XF on March 24, 2015 - today - in London. The second-generation Jaguar XF would make its public motor show debut at the 2015 New York Motor Show on April 2. The company has released two teaser videos of the new XF, and has teamed up with expert British stuntman Jim Dowdall to perform a world's first high-wire water crossing in the all-new Jaguar XF.
Receiving a complete redesign for the 2016 model year, the next generation Jaguar XF will be the second Jaguar model to feature the brand's advanced aluminium-intensive architecture after the Jaguar XE. Recently, the company revealed the first interior image of the new XF and it was quite refreshed. New Jaguar XF is expected to be 100 kg lighter than the current-generation model despite its growing size due to the use of aluminium-intensive architecture.
Jim Dowdall has performed dramatic action stunts in movies, including Bond, Bourne and Indiana Jones. The dramatic drive, across two 1.3in (34mm) -diameter wires suspended high above the water will highlight the lightweight and agile credentials of the new Jaguar XF and will be streamed globally on jaguarusa.com/NewXF at 3:00PM EST (19:00 GMT) (12:30 AM IST) on March 24.
Under the hood, it would have the company's new lightweight Ingenium engines. 2016 Jaguar XF deliveries deliveries are expected to commence by October 2015 in the USA, while in India it would be launched around mid 2016.
