British iconic motorcycle makers, Triumph, today unveiled its special edition Thruxton named after Ace Cafe London. A modern machine having the genes of a classic heritage, Thruxton ace epitomizes the special bond between Ace Cafe London and Triumph motorcycles, a bond which goes beyond imagination.
Laced in pure white colored tanks and jet black side panels, Thruxton oozes lots of charm. The wheels are alloy wire spokes, giving it all retro feel, combined with low slung handlebar and end mirrors, a must of all cafe racers. Side panels, tail section and the tank now get all official Ace Cafe logos.

The engine remains untouched largely with same 865cc parallel twin engine, generating 68 horsepower and 72 Nm torque. The seat is also replaced with a custom-made one, along with the same rumble producing silencer. “With low slung handlebars, retro spoke wheels and a central stripe running along the tank to the beautifully sculpted custom seat, the Triumph Thruxton Ace looks as if it would be equally at home on a classic grid as outside the local café, after a spirited morning ride” said a press release.
Only 100 limited edition bikes will be made and deposits are already being taken for booking. Bikes will arrive in showrooms at the year end. Thruxton is currently being sold at 7700 Pounds in the UK. The special edition will only have a minimal markup price added as a premium, we think.
