Virat Kohli, Indian Test Cricket Team Captain and Ace Cricketer, has brought a new Audi A8L W12 Quattro, which costs around a whooping Rs. 2 Crores. The stylish Indian batsman's penchant for Audi cars seems to be growing each day passing, as it wasn't long ago when he was handed the keys of the limited edition Audi R8 LMX. Just so you know, Virat already owns Audi R8 and Audi Q7, besides the R8 LMX.
Audi A8L W12 Quattro is the German luxury automaker's flagship sedan and it attracts a sticker price of Rs. 1.87 Crores (Ex. Showroom, New Delhi). Being the long wheelbase derivative of the exquisite sedan, it is offered with three engines: 3.0L V6 diesel, 4.2L V8 diesel and 6.3L W12 petrol. The sedan, of which Virat Kohli were handed the keys, was the range-topping 6.3L W12 petrol. The sedan churns out a maximum power of 494bhp at 6200rpm and peak torque of 625Nm at 4750rpm. Needless to say, Audi A8L comes loaded with several high-end premium features such as Matrix LED headlamps, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree surround view cameras, and park assist.
Audi A8L is available in over 100 exterior colors, 23 interior colours and 12 options for wood inserts. Audi offers a wide range of options in the A8L, for the front seats, including ventilation and massage functions in five programs. Adaptive air suspension with Audi drive select is standard. Audi A8L, while being retailed as Completely Built Unit (CBU) in India, challenges the likes of Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7-Series and Jaguar XJL. The sedan's latest iteration was launched last year in the country, with updates being predominantly cosmetic.
