Volksfest 2016 brings attractive offers to celebrate the festive season

Snapshot: The Volkswagen 2016 carnival has already begun from the 1st of October and will go on till October 31st. Since the offer is coinciding with the festive season, the automaker has decided to make things even more interesting by offering everyone who takes a test drive, exclusively customised gifts.

Volkswagen has kicked off its month long mega carnival, the Volksfest 2016. The German automaker will be giving its existing and prospective customers the chance to avail several attractive offers, service benefits and also assured branded gifts. The carnival will be put into action by Volkswagen dealerships all across India.

Since the offer is coinciding with the festive season, the automaker has decided to make things even more interesting by offering everyone who takes a test drive, exclusively customised gifts. There is also a chance of winning a Blaupunkt multimedia tablet. The Volkswagen 2016 carnival has already begun from the 1st of October and will go on till October 31st. The Polo, Vento, Jetta, Beetle and Ameo are the cars this German automaker sells in India.

The Volkswagen Ameo diesel is its most recent launch in India. It is a sub 4-metre sedan and reeks of elegance and comfort. Initially, just the 1.2-litres petrol variant of the car was launched, which churned out 74 bhp and 110 Nm of torque. The car did not manage to strike a chord amongst its other competitors as it was considered underpowered. To makeup for the loss of sale, the German automaker launch the diesel variant of the car in the market. With a larger oil engine of 1.5-litre and a power of 108 bhp which comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, the previous complains died soon enough. One can also go for a 7-speed automatic gearbox if required. It also comes with plush interiors, ABS and dual airbags for safety and also Hill Hold Control. The Ameo diesel comes in 3 variants- Trendline, Comfortline, Highline, starting at INR 6.27lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and goes up higher to up to 9.65lakhs.
