Volkswagen has unveiled Polo Facelift, Likely to be showcased at Auto Expo India

Volkswagen has revealed the facelift of its Polo hatchback, likely to enter the Indian market by mid-2104. Incepted in 1975, the Polo currently leaving its 5th generation. The new Polo boasts of the revisions to exterior and interior along with, Interestingly, the introduction of new engine options. However, the model is not extensively redesigned but seems more mature over the current generation Polo.

The changes to the exterior of 2014 Polo including new headlight cluster now loaded with LED, the multi slat grille with chrome line and the new front bumper again with a  prominent sleek chrome line in between that goes in symmetry to the Polo's simple and sober character. The rear doesn't have much changes except the new crystal taillights and diminutive changes to the boot and bumper lines.

The 2014 Polo cabin is freshen up with new centre console, new seats upholstery, bold steering design and new easily readable instrument cluster illuminated with the white backlight. A host of new comfort features also supposed to be introduced on the new Polo, however, Indian market is not likely to get all the features due to competitive conditions in the Indian market. Volkswagen is likely to showcase the new Polo at upcoming Auto Expo India which is likely to be introduced in India while the current 1.2-litre diesel powertrain with new 4-cylinder, 1.5-litre diesel mill.
