Volkswagen has showcased the I.D Vizzion concept at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show previewing a futuristic electric powered luxury sedan that will come playing a very important part in the German auto major’s future product strategy. The Volkswagen I.D Vizzion promises to run 665 km on a single charge and it also gets Level-5 autonomous driving technology. Clearly, the Volkswagen I.D Vizzion comes as a very interesting, stylish and premium car.

Volkswagen is expected to place this luxury electric sedan on top of the I.D lineup. In terms of design, it appears very stylish and elegant. The car gets sleek LED headlamps, while there is a sleek LED strip horizontally connecting the headlamps. The front bumper looks muscular and large enough to give the car a bold feel. Moving to side profile, it gets sporty and sharp looking alloy wheels, deep character lines adding style.

The car gets nicely curved roofline and at the back, the car sports sleek LED taillight. Thanks to the suicidal doors, Volkswagen I.D Vizzion creates wide space for the occupants to get in and out of the car. It doesn’t get any conventional steering wheel or gear shifter inside the cabin. Instead, the car gets voice control command system and a fully digital control panel. Clearly, these indicate towards the vehicle’s autonomous characteristics. Thanks to this design, the cabin ensures maximum possible space for the occupants. Also, the windshield gets integrated display for the occupants to show various detail.

Speaking about its powertrain, Volkswagen I.D Vizzion gets a fully electric system that can churn out around 300 bhp of peak power, which comes from a powerful lithium-ion battery pack. This electric powertrain makes sure the sedan runs 665 kilometres without being recharged. Also, it can run at a top speed of 180 kmph and the acceleration capability to 100 kmph from standstill position is 6.3 seconds.
