Volkswagen Motorsport India scripted a success story with flying colours in the recently concluded season of the 2018 FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship. The 2018 FMSCI INRC season saw Volkswagen Polo and Polo R2 securing 37 podium positions and 10 victories altogether overall – INRC 1, INRC 2 and INRC 3 segments.
The INRC 2 competition was neck-to-neck between Arka Motorsports, Snap Racing and Team Champions running the Volkswagen Polo. The Volkswagen Polo driven by Karna Kadur of Arka Motorsports gave a tough competition in the entire event till the final round fighting for the top spot. In INRC 2 segment, Karna bagged 3 wins and 5 podiums, clinching the INRC 2 title also by the season end. INRC 3 racing competition saw Volkswagen Polo clinch 14 out of 15 podium finishes throughout 2018, which marked one of the most successful season performance by a car.
The team at Volkswagen Motorsport India supports all the Volkswagen cars taking part in the INRC rounds with technical assistance and supply of parts. The only factory team which helps privateers with technical expertise and spare parts support at various championship rounds with its rally engineers and technicians is Volkswagen Motorsport India.
