The owners had a brief tour of the whole facility and witnessed the production processes (press shop, body shop, paint shop and final assembly line) of Volkswagen cars in India to understand the company's statement 'why only Volkswagen can make a Volkswagen'.

The Pune plant is the company's only manufacturing facility in India. Spread over 575 acres of land area, its construction started in 2007. The company assembles Polo, Vento and Jetta locally while bring the Toureg as a complete built unit to our shores.
