Volkswagen registers 107% growth in November 2016

European car manufacturer, Volkswagen India announced its monthly sales performance for November 2016 with growth of 107 percent by selling 4,014 units of vehicle as against 1,942 units sold in the corresponding month in the year 2015. Where Recently, Volkswagen also announced that dual airbags and ABS will be standardized across all product line.

Speaking on this, Mr. Michael Mayer, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India said, “We have witnessed an encouraging growth with our November sales welcoming new members to the Volkswagen family. Earlier this year, we launched the Ameo and were positive that the vehicle would succeed in drawing car buyers’ attention and it has lived up to our expectations.”

Achieving an upward growth curve, the majority of this growth is attributed to the increasing sales of the recently launched Volkswawgen Ameo. Where the company marking a milestone by introducing safety features such as ABS and Dual Airbags as standard fitments across all Volkswagen carlines in the country. The added safety features have set new benchmarks in safety by adopting global standards for all Volkswagen products in India.

Volkswagen today has an enhanced product presence in the Indian car market and consumers will now have a wider choice to select from Volkswagen’s large product portfolio ahead of the upcoming holiday season.
