Volkswagen has been working over its products and we can see these freshly arrived spyshots of the Volkswagen Vento facelift that has emerged online. The updated car was spotted on the Indian streets doing some test rounds and for good it was undisguised. The images here show some of the cosmetics and design updated in the facelift model. The Frontal of the updated version seems to feature some edgy styling that makes it quite distinguished from the existing model.
As of now we only have exterior of the images and going by the spyshot images the facelift model of the Vento will borrow the same design cues from the ongoing model but will be tweaked in terms of styling. The new styling updated that you will get are a new front fascia that houses new horizontal LED fog lamps, and a bigger air dam as compared to its predecessor, a bigger front grille with three horizontal slats, new LED headlamps with underlined LED DRLs (daytime running lights), a redesigned bonnet with prominent and edgy creases.
As we consider it to be an update to the model as there are no further details of the mechanicals, but we expect the Volkswagen Vento facelift to be packed in the same as seen in the current model - 1.2-litre and 1.6-litre turbo-petrol unit, both the unit is good to generate a maximum power of 104 bhp. The former makes a top spin of 175 Nm while the latter does a peak torque of 153 Nm. The diesel variant comes with 1.5-litre TDI diesel that offers the same power with 250 Nm of torque. Transmission options here you get a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard, along with the company’s tested and worthy7-speed DSG unit as an option.
It is also being rumoured that Volkswagen could introduce a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol powertrain that is also incorporated in the Golf. But it is still a rumour, as we said.
