Volkswagen India have rolled out a limited edition model of its mid-sized sedan Vento in the country with prices ranging between Rs 7.84 lakh and Rs 9.8 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai.) Christened Volkswagen Vento Konekt, the limited edition model benefits from a number of interior features and updates and is being offered on the Comfortline and Highline trims for a limited period of time.
To begin with the Vento Konekt gets a new Blaupunkt infotainment system that is capable of satellite navigation and Bluetooth telephony. It features a 7-inch touchscreen interface and has connectivity compatibility with USB, auxiliary and iPhone/iPod inputs. For the rear seat entertainment, the special edition model gets an additional 8-inch Android-powered tablet that features a dual-SIM functionality. With 3G connectivity, the rear seat occupants have access to an entertainment package consisting of live television, internet radio, weather, stock market updates and social networking sites. Furthermore, the seats gets leatherette upholstery and the ‘Konekt’ badging features on the boot lid and the on the scuff plates.
