Earlier, we informed you that Volvo has received 200 bookings of its most awaited small SUV, though, the Swedish automaker expected that the first 200 examples would get booked ahead of launch, but that did not happen, due to higher pricing of the R-Design version. Volvo further planned to expand the XC40 range. Volvo has launched two more variants - Momentum and Inscription. The Volvo XC40 Momentum version is priced at Rs 39.9 lakh, the R-Design is now priced at Rs 42.9 lakh (previously launched at Rs 39.9 lakh) and the range-topping, inscription variant at Rs 43.9 lakh (All Prices Ex Showroom).

Exterior-wise, the inscription version gets a different design styling for its face with vertical chrome slatted grille with more added chrome elements on the exterior, six spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels. On the inside, it comes with driftwood inlays, crystal gear knob, electrically powered rear seat headrests and a charging port in the boot.

In terms of features, the R-Design and Inscription trims get a 9 inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 750-watt, 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, wireless mobile phone charging, powered tailgate, front and rear heated seats, and 18 inch alloys. The base Momentum version comes with a different design 18 inch alloy wheels and the infotainment system, along with standard cruise control, while it misses out all aforementioned features.
