Vozz, an Australia company has revolutionised the way helmets are made. The company has come up with an interesting helmet that eliminates the need of the chinstrip. The helmet is called as Vozz RS 1.0 and has a rear head access. It opens in half after pressing the locks on either side of the helmet bottom which swings opens the flap. It was seen as a concept earlier in 2005 and since then it has went through a lot of testing and development, and finally will go on sales on the official online store from 23 December onwards.

The intuitive design has many plus points including the closer fit to the head, the chin area is fully covered that means there is no or significant less passage entry for air and hence will prevent aerodynamic lift of the helmet. The new design also help reducing the wind noise and better insulation in the cold weather. The smaller opening on the bottom side eliminates the need of restraint and makes the unintentional removal impossible. Looking from the safety point, it comes with DOT and ECE certification, and is certified for use in Australia and New Zealand. It is priced at 888 Dollars and will be available on the official online Vozz store after 23rd of December.

We personally liked the distinct concept of the Vozz RS 1.0 helmet. Share your views on the same in the comment section below.
