2018 Hyundai Creta and Hyundai Elite i20 CVT

Finally, Hyundai launched the new Creta and CVT variant of the Elite i20 in India. The Creta gets a starting price of Rs 9.44 lakh and goes up to Rs 15.04 lakh (Ex showroom). Hyundai has also introduced 2 new exterior colours – passion orange and marina blue, and a dual-tone with orange is also available. The range-topping variant will come with some new added features such as Electric Sunroof, Wireless Phone Charger, Smart key band, to name a few.

Hyundai has also introduced the new Elite i20 with CVT that has been priced at Rs 7.04 lakh for the Magna and Rs 8.16 lakh for Asta (Ex showroom, Delhi). Hyundai will increase prices across its product line-up, except the newly-launched Creta, by up to 2 percent from June so to offset rising input costs.

Mini Cooper

Mini has launched the facelift version of its Cooper, starting from a price of Rs 29.70 lakh and goes up to Rs 37.10 lakh. It is inspired from the 2017 Mini Electric concept. It comes with significant visual changes compared to the predecessor. The car gets LED headlamps and LED taillights as standard. Matrix LED high beam is offered as an option. At the rear, the taillight gets the Union Jack inspired design, a clear inspiration from the Mini Electric concept. Up front, the chrome lining around the aggressive black grille, circular LED headlamps add zing to the car, while the new wheels also add styling. It will be available in three new exterior colours – Emerald Grey metallic, Starlit Blue metallic and Solaris Orange metallic.

Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 4MATIC Coupe ‘OrangeArt’ & SLC 43 ‘RedArt’ Edition

Mercedes-AMG launched 2 limited edition in India - GLE 43 4MATIC Coupe ‘OrangeArt’ Edition and the SLC 43 ‘RedArt’ Edition. The GLE Coupe ‘OrangeArt’ Edition is priced at Rs 1.02 crore and is available in three exterior paints including polar white, Obsidian black and Selentine Grey. The Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 4MATIC ‘OrangeArt’ uses a high displacing 3.0-litre V6 direct injection bi-turbo engine that makes 390hp at 6100rpm against 520Nm torque. It takes around 5.7 seconds to sprint from rest to 100kmph while attaining a top speed of 250kmph.

The SLC 43 ‘RedArt’ Edition gets priced tag Rs 87.84 lakh, (All Prices, Exshowroom, India). The SLC 43 ‘RedArt’ is offered with just two paint finishes-Polar white and an optional Designo selenite grey mango. The SLC 43 ‘RedArt’ gets power from the same bi-turbo unit, albeit the power output is slightly less at 367hp, while the torque remains same. In comparison to the OrangeArt version, the SLC 43 ‘RedArt’ takes lesser time to accelerate to 100kmph from stand still and offers same speed as 250kmph.

Lexus LX 570

Lexus launched its flagship SUV, LX 570 in India at a sticker price of Rs 2.33 crore (Ex showroom). The LX 570 SUV gets an impression through signature Lexus design elements such as the spindle grille and the Lexus L-shaped illumination of the triple LED headlights. Inside, the mark of the Takumi is evident in the superior semi aniline leather interiors and the Shimamoku trim on the steering wheel. Spacious cabin of the LX 570 boasts of spirit of hospitality, or omotenashi with its silky white LED lighting and ambient illumination integrated in the doors. Whereas for the entertainment, the SUV gets a high-definition 11.6 inch liquid crystal AI (Artificial Intelligence) displays for rear seats with 19 speakers Mark Levinson reference surround sound system. The SUV is powered by a 5.7-L V8 engine that makes 362bhp with 530Nm.

Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus Limited Edition

Royal Enfield unveiled the limited edition of the Classic 500, named as “Pegasus”. Inspired by the legendary RE/WD Flying Flea 125 motorcycle motorcycle that was manufactured at the company’s underground facility in Westwood, UK during the World War II, it would be limited to 1000 units globally.
