India Yamaha Motor has launched the all-new FZS-FI at a starting price of Rs. 86,042/- (Ex-showroom Delhi) in the country. Being presented in Armada Blue color, it brings together Yamaha’s Blue Core technology and improved braking system with rear disc brake. Yamaha FZS-FI would be available across all authorized Yamaha dealers in the country, while the motorcycle will be manufactured by IYM (India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd.) and marketed by YMIS (Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd.).

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Roy Kurian, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. said, “The legacy of Yamaha’s FZ series in India is all about the inheritance of a unique motorcycling passion. Immensely popular with Indian bikers all the way through almost 10 years from the day it was launched in India, and winning over a million hearts, it was crowned to become the ‘lord of the streets’ by the collective culture of the country’s motorcycling. While its best seller features like build and appearance, superior engine technology, fuel mileage and suspensionare retained, the new additions will excite the present and new customers.”

The FZS-FI boasts of “Triple Muscular Concept”, which comprises of Muscular silhouette, Muscular Body parts and Muscular Chassis. Other features include superb suspension, advance midship muffler, skid-free split seat and multi-function instrument panel with Eco indicator. It is powered by the 149 cc, air cooled, fuel injected, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve, single cylinder engine. The bike is now offered with 220mm hydraulic single rear disc brake and 282mm front brake. Speaking of the Blue Core Technology, it is a next-generation engine development ideal for models that take riding enjoyment, fuel efficiency and environmental performance to all-new levels. It increases combustion efficiency and cooling efficiency, while reducing power loss.
