Yamaha imports Majesty S 155cc to India

Yesterday only we reported to you that Mahindra2Wheelers is planning to introduce the Peugeot scooters to Indian market and how Indian scooter market will be flooded with premium scooters with in short time. This is not the first time when Yamaha India has imported one of the premium scooters for research and development purposes as few days back Yamaha also imported one of their premium scooters, Burgman 125.

According to an import-export data website, Yamaha has imported Majesty S 155cc scooter to Indian shores. The Majesty S is offered in the range from 125cc to 155cc in the International market. Its compact body, elegant design and quality look promising. Majesty S runs on a 155cc Single cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC engine with 4 valves that produces near 15.80bhp of power at 7,500rpm and 15Nm of Torque at 7,000rpm. It features disc brakes at the front as well as at the rear.  Majesty S carries telescopic forks at the front with 79mm travel (front). It is equipped with a fuel-tank of 7.4 litres capacity and the wet weight of this vehicle is near 148kgs (this is almost similar to most of the 150cc-200cc motorcycles present in India). Apart from Majesty S, Yamaha also imported Burgman 125cc few weeks before.
