Yamaha India Motor Pvt. Ltd., with the rains already marking presence in various parts of the country, would commence ‘Pre-Monsoon Check-up Camps’ at all the company authorized dealerships. Such fortnightly check-up camps held in the month of June 2018 will offer ’14 essential points-based’ free check-up to strengthen vehicle care during the monsoons. The customers owning Yamaha two wheelers can avail ‘14 essential points-based’ vehicle check-up at nearby dealerships in respective cities and can also avail lucrative discounts on helmets, accessories, ‘periodic service labor charges’ and ‘periodic service genuine parts’.

The deliveries of the 2018 Yamaha YZF-R3 have started!

Mr. Ravinder Singh, Senior Vice President, Strategy and Planning, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. said, “As a responsible two-wheeler manufacturer, the company is committed to ensure high standards of safety. While Yamaha vehicles are equipped with minimal risk features, the check-up camps will help to further enhance the overall riding experience during rainy season. A safe-riding experience, particularly during monsoon will only square with the customer satisfaction of Yamaha two wheelers." Just so you know, Yamaha FZ 25 recently received the prestigious India Design Mark (I Mark) award from the Indian Design Council for its engineering and design.

The company, in a bid to promote environment-friendly practices, installed a 1100 KW roof top solar power plant at company’s manufacturing facility in Chennai. With this new installation, the total solar capacity of Yamaha’s Chennai plant has increased to 1450 KW and the company has plans to increase the total rooftop solar capacity to 3500 KW by the end of this year. The new rooftop solar panels cover factory building area including body shop, engine building, bus parking and walkways for the employees and visitors. The new rooftop installation would reduce CO2 emission to the extent of 1600 tons/year. The unique feature of this installation is the solar panels which have been mounted over the walkways in the plant premises.
