The Indian subsidiary of Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Yamaha is going to unveil something new on the 7th of January, 2014. 

The invitation from the company says , "Block your date for January 7th as Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. gears up to unveil a new chapter.......” No further information regarding the event has been disclosed. 

Just few days back, Yamaha India has revealed its plans for the Ray based unisex scooter. Speaking of guesswork, If it is a launch of a new product, than it could be a new automatic scooter. The new offering be a more premium unisex scooter based on the platform of company's existing gearless scooter, Ray. Yamaha already sells two automatic scooters in India namely Ray and Ray Z. Both the scooters are powered by the same single cylinder 113cc engine producing descent 7.1 ps of power. 

Recently, the company unveiled the prototype of its new R25 at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Sow. The bike seems to be inspired by the company's MotoGP bike YZR-M1. However, the bike is most likely to greet us in upcoming Auto Expo 2014.
