The Japanese auto firm, Yamaha has reintroduced the YZF-R15 V2.0 in an all new colour scheme and has added 2 new options which include sparky green and adrenaline red. Apart from that Yamaha’s signature Revving Blue also sits beside the two new colours. Yamaha Motor India Pvt. Ltd. has also increased the prices on the YZF-R15 V2.0 which now sits at INR 1,18,373 (ex-showroom New Delhi) which was earlier priced at INR 1.14 Lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi).

Apart from the visuals the bike has not received any mechanical changes that means it propels the same 149.8 cc single cylinder engine that churns out 17bhp of power and 15Nm of torque and comes mated to a six-speed transmission.

There are also concrete chance that the company will introduce the 3rd generation YZF-R15 by the end of 2016 as the same was caught getting tested recently. Till now YZF R15 v2.0 was the only race dedicated full faired machine in this 150cc segment in India but with the introduction of the new generation Honda CBR150R, YZF-R15 has a new contender to lock horns with. Do let us know your views on the same in the comment section below and till then stay tuned to BikePortal for more updates from the motoring world.
