Yamaha jumps to 22 per cent domestic growth in August

India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. declared that the company has recorded 22 per cent domestic growth in the month of August. As against 61,440 units sold in the corresponding month of 2015, the company sold over 74,868 units last month in the domestic market (including Nepal.) The company recently introduced the disc variant of its famous Cygnus Alpha scooter which continues to build up sales for the Japanese motorcycle maker. Also the company launched Cygnus Ray-ZR collaborating with one the desi Rap artists resulting in positive demand of the scooter. Talking about individual number, Fascino and FZ average about 18,000 units every month, Yamaha Ray sells about 14,000 units a montha dn the company is doing not so well in terms of selling the new Slauto RX which manages to sell in between 3,000 to 4,000 units each month.
