It’s not long since the Japanese auto maker, Yamaha, launched the Saluto RX and again the company has today launched the all new Cygnus Ray-ZR at a price of Rs 52,000 for standard drum variant and Rs 54,500 for disk variant. This scooter made its debut at the Autoexpo 2016 and instantly took the centre stage because of its striking looks. Yamaha is presenting it as a ‘male-centric’ and is using the tag-line ‘Real Boy’s Scooter’ for the same.
It is powered by an air-cooled 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve 113cc engine with Yamaha’s ‘Blue-Core’ technology. It weighs 103 kgs and boasts 21 litres of under seat storage capacity. It also comes with tubeless tyres and is available in two different colors for its drum brake as well as disk brake variant. It will sell along-side with Yamaha Ray-Z, Fasicno and Cygnus Alpha. The company claims a fuel efficiency of 66kmpl in standard conditions.
